TRAINING FOR FILM, TV, AND STAGE
Training designed for those who wish a professional
career in the Wardrobe Department in the Las
Vegas Entertainment Industry.
Class presented by Women in Film, held at
DreamVision Studios, Las Vegas.

Three-Time Emmy nominee Hollywood Costume
Designer Diana Eden.

TWICE A WEEK: Tuesdays and Thursdays
TIME: 5 pm to 8 pm
Total of 30 hours
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to give students a
first hand knowledge of the practical requirements
of a career as costumer or wardrobe assistant,
making them industry ready to work in any
television, film, or theatrical environment.
COVERING: Costume Department interaction with
all members of the creative team, script breakdown
and cross plots, continuity, budgeting, ageing
and dyeing, vendors and resources, research,
kit requirements, defining of various costuming
roles . Students will have hands-on experience
and will work with the Hair and Make-up Department
and the Stunt Department. There will also
be a field trip to visit Costume Houses, prop
houses, and fabric sources.

DIANA EDEN:
This five week intensive course will be taught
by Diana Eden herself, with selected industry
experts as guest teachers throughout the course.
Ms Eden has costumed some of Hollywood's top
stars such as . . . .
George Clooney, Ann-Margret, Debra Messing,
Megan Malooly, Kathy Griffin, Seth Allen,
Jamie Kennedy, Kaley Cuoco, Thomas Haden Church,
Reba McEntire, Cloris Leachman, and many many
more.
She has designed 14 prime time television
series, such as Ned and Stacey, Family Law,
The Tony Danza Show, Sweet Justice, Ladies
Man, and more, plus more than 16 TV pilots,
4 movies made for television, and two daytime
dramas. She was nominated twice for her work
on "Passions", and once for "A League of Their
Own". In addition, she has received numerous
awards for her work in theatrical productions,
both in Los Angeles and New York.

This is a one time only introductory
rate, with the recession in mind, for the
first ten students to sign up. After that
the rate will jump to $2500 and $2750 for
future courses. Tuition is tax deductible
as proceeds go towards Women in Film non-profit
organization.
SUPPLIES: Each student will be supplied
with a kit, containing the basic essentials
for working on set. Students will be required
to bring a digital camera and have the ability
to print photos at home to bring as homework.
They will need internet access for research.
Expenses born by students will be no more
than $50 for books and supplies as directed
by teacher. Class size is limited, so sign
up quickly. .

Makeup artists today are often asked and expected
to be able to do basic to advanced hair. An
intensive 1 month course designed to give
students and professionals in the industry
the skills and hair knowledge as well as advanced
techniques in current and past hair styling.

COVERING: Product Knowledge, Sanitization,
Teasing, Curling, Blow outs, Roller Sets,
Braids, Bridal Updos, Red Carpet Hair, Pin
Curls, Finger Waves, Period Styling, High

WIF Members: $900 -- Non-Members: $975
(Both are tax deductible as proceeds go towards

Doll Head: $75 Class will provide doll
head to use and keep.
Hair Kit: To be provided by student
(apx $50-$200) depending on what you already
have and what brands you buy. Kit must be
bought and provided by student. Required and
necessary Hair Kit will be covered on day
1 of class and must be brought to class by
Day 2. NO exceptions.
